New art exhibition in Sugahill Cafe

Post by BruceHarrison »

A new disply of art by local artist Tim Feltham is being exhibited at the Sugahill Cafe from 12 April until mid May. Tim's vibrant paintings in oils or acrylic are all local scenes, Crystal Palace, Upper Norwood, Birkbeck - all worth a look. Have a coffee and slice of cake at the same time.

Lot's of positive comments on Tim Felthams paintings from Sugahill customers on first day of exhibition, according to Jasmine (Sugahill owner).

I wish you luck with promoting this. When I mentioned how good the art was at Sugahill I received a few sarcastic comments from the regulars. They thought it was the owner of the cafe trying to drum up trade!! Dare I say it may be because I was a woman and new to the site. I'm keeping a rather low profile now! Anyway, good luck, the cafe is fab and the artwork too.

SugaHill is a brilliant spot. This current exhibition is terrific. Check it out.

I have nothing to do with SugaHill. I just want to promote it. It's a blissful haven.

Paul.

Tim Feltham's paintings

Post by BruceHarrison »

I agree Paul, Sugahill is a great place.
Here's a photo of one of Tim Feltham's paintings currently on display there "Early morning Annerly Hill" - although this image doesn't do it justice as the original is large - 24" x 36".

Admin can you download it for me again. Thanks B.

Sugahill

Paul, on a separate topic I hope we are going to see some of your fantastic 8) photographs on display during the Sydenham Arts Festival in July, maybe even in Sugahill for the taster exhibition leading up to the Visual Artist Trail weekends of 17/18 & 24/25 July.

Only 8 days left to see Tim Felthams fantastic paintings before a new exhibition by local photographer Ann Pownall starts on 14th May.

Help!

Post by BruceHarrison »

Hi Terry
I tried to display another photo in a new topic "Ann Pownall exhibition at Sugahill cafe" as you suggested with the url between [img]and[/img] but it didn't work for me. What have I done wrong - is it the wrong sort of url?

First the image must be hosted online elsewhere. Then you simply right click on the image and copy its url. It must be exact. If you don't have a mouse, then you control click on a Mac, perhaps command click on a PC, to copy the address (url) and stick it between the image tags here on this forum.

You can link the image directly to another website too by first inserting the goto website then embedding the image making sure to close the website link tags after the image.

Click here for some BBCode instructions for further reference.

Good luck.
