I was surprised none of the Lib Dem candidates for Lewisham council seats lived in Sydenham either!

Me too; I only voted for one council candidate. Of the few remaining ones who bothered to run a visible campaign, all were underwhelming.

After 2nd round - Lab 48.9%, LD 33.9%, invalid 17.1%

which amounts to 5% from Lib Dem to Labour since 2006.
