Sydenham Road Closed

By the library, with some of Home Park taped off too. Loads of police, traffic chaos. Anyone know why?

I think this place has gone down hill with all these stabbings, muggings and shootings, a lot of people refuse to believe that this sort of thing goes on in Sydenham, it's getting worse each week and there are a lot more things we don't know about because people are afraid to report it...

Sydenham has become a very violent place.

Terrible news - poor kid & family.

I know it happens everywhere, but I always thought Sydenham was relatively safe compared to a lot of other London areas.

Terrible news, especially as it's so close to where I live and being connected with the Friends of Home Park group who have done wonderful things in the park. My condolences go out to the family of the victim. I only hope this never happens here ever again. Or anywhere for that matter.
