Uniplan boards above shops

Post by eugenio@uniplan »

Following our completion of business at 16 to 22 Sydenham Road, we have removed the V boards.

We are in contact with Councillor Chris Best regarding the presentation of the high street, and she is aware that our boards only go up when we are conducting business regarding to these properties and once the business is concluded the boards are removed.

Kind regards

That's great to hear. With a bit of luck, Property World will follow suit as their's seem to be the most prolific signs still up. I won't hold my breath though.

No problems at all, its in everybody's interest to ensure the high street is presented as well as it can be.

Property World have had a 'Let By' up on Girton Road for about a year!

Are residential streets to get the same treatment?

About time these boards were done away with. Archaic system that's totally abused...total blight....and totally unecessary. I work in several hundred properties a year yet I'm not allowed to shove boards up everywhere. Luckily I live within the Dulwich boundary where boards are banned. Agents still try it on but I give them 24Hrs to remove it or they get ripped down.
