Happy New Year to all.

I'm in for Wednesday.

Aidan is probably in and will confirm (via me) by Monday lunchtime.

We only have 5 confirmed so far. Unless there is a sudden rush of interest footy is off unfortunately. My brother will be in Vegas so numbers available this week are significantly depleted.

Roll on next week. I'm dying for a game.

Aidan is in.

So that's:
- Marathon
- Biscuitman
- Aidan
- Donny
- Paul
- Ulysses

Surely there must be two more players out there?!

hi all - Happy New Year,

I'd be up for a game tomorrow if numbers (and snow) permit.

As we only have seven and there is the possibility of more snow today I'll assume that football is off unless I hear otherwise.

See you next Wednesday!

Morning chaps – first off, apologies. I’ve been very remiss in not asking for names this week. The majority of my attention last week was focused on organising my fiancées 40th birthday bash and I forgot about footie.

If we can get 8 this week I will book the pitch. Any takers?

Big Freeze Footy...

Post by droidathon »

Hey there..

I'm going to give this week a miss as I'm trying to get rid of my "big freeze" cold!

Have fun out there!

Sorry guys, I'm out this week. But I'm keen to start playing again, so should be back in next week.

i seem to have a long-term knee injury. I'm still awaiting preliminary x-rays, but in the meantime it's very painful and an arthritic 2-legged tortoise could beat me in a sprint (no change there then). :D

Best of luck with the weather

I am available to play this week if there is a game, althoug it doesn't look like much interest as yet!
Otherwise, it appears I will be pouring more misery on myself watching Liverpool lose again at home to go out of yet another cup! Dickie

No footy this week.

So third time lucky for the new year... Who's up for the 20th?

Sorry to hear about your knee Ali. Hope it isn't giving you too much grief and all the best for a speedy recovery.

Super early, I'm signing up for the 20th!

These illnesses and snow-problems are doing my head in! I've even gotten some proper footie kit in the sales* so I won't have to wear my tennis kit. It's desperate for some use.

* Did anyone else have 'Christmas Casuals' as we termed it in Scotland? Someone who would come in head-to-toe on the first day back in all the clothes they got on Xmas day.

So we won't be seeing you play in your blue leotard and black plimsolls again ?

I'm up for Wednesday. Liverpool are on Sky against Spurs, so I need something to help me avoid as much of this as possible...
