STF pre-Christmas drinks Friday 18th Dec

Post by ALIB »

i have seen a few postings mentioning this, but thought it better to have its own thread.
I am out of Sydenham from the 22nd December, but would would be open to suggestions for some lubrication a few days before then
Golden Lion ?
Woodman ?
Windmill ?
Dolphin ?

So c'mon all you STF posters and voyeurs. Get into the real world and have a few social drinks. Venue and time to be decided. suggestions on a postcard

Or am i going to be drinking on my own again ?

I've said several times that I'd be up for it.....I'm pretty busy though.

How about the 16th 17th 18th or 19th?

I feel sorry for AliB....I'll meet you for a beer.

You'll have to stand outside, though.

well my preferred date is Friday 18th December. I think the Golden Lion does blues on a Friday, but we could always use the saloon bar, else other suggestions are welcome.

The Woodman
Forest Hill Tavern (now All Bar 1 , or something or other). I've never been in there
The Windmill - cheap beer and some guest ales

Let's go to the Red Lion for blues on the 18th, then.

That way, if I get bored of you lot I can go and watch the band.

Do you mean the Golden Lion?

Sounds like a plan to me.

After AliB's last outrageous attack on another thread I will be forced to first emasculate the post and then lock the thread and finally offer the quoted remains for Nasaroc to lay across the railtrack of any member who fails to buy me a round ...

That's if I'm still invited. Please, please ...

Golden Lion
7.30pm
Friday 18th December
I may be in there a bit earlier, depending on workload.

Admin will be the person with deep pockets and short arms

Seriously, i hope we can get a few people along, especially newbies. Shopgirl, Savvygirl, in fact anyone with a user name that ends with 'girl'.

There is too much testosterone on this site most of the time.

Also i hope to see a few 'regulars'

I think I'll put in an appearance....I might have work the next day so it wont be a full-on 'session' for me.

Aside from choking half to death and being appalled at my own level of fitness with the CP Runners, I've not met the locals yet, so I'm more than up for a few beers with you all.

Everyone is more than welcome. New faces will be more welcome than the regulars, especially if they are getting a round in.

Most people would rather Lambchops didn't go naked, not that we'd have much to worry about in this chilly weather. just bring your wallet.

The band on Friday 18th December is
