On 3 occassions now I have witnessing thuggery from from a man near Ooh LaLa at Penge East Station.
A few months ago I saw him threatening & swearing at his elderly neighbour, and last night he threatened an elderly couple who parked in front of the shops. He basically parked them in and when they asked him to move he swore at them for parking in front of his 'house'. He reckonded he has a right to park there because he lives there. I don't reckon he pays for parking though. The vile that was spewing forth from his mouth was nasty, and he was also threatening to harm them. They looked about 70.
Last week I was buying sweets for my 5 year old daughter and he pushed me out the way very aggressively.
Has anybody else noticed this thug?

Abusive, angry man near hairdressers ''Ooh La La''
Re: Abusive, angry man living above hairdressers ''Ooh La La
The type in bold is technically assault. Threatening language seems to have been used previously.Disko wrote:On 3 occassions now I have witnessing thuggery from from a man near Ooh LaLa at Penge East Station.

If i were you, i would make a statement at the local police station. He seems like a severe incident waiting to happen, but in the meantime is making his neighbours life a misery.
I agree with AliB. It isn't what he has done but what he might do or have done to him if he meets someone who reacts badly that we should worry about.
I would report. I doubt the police would pursue it as a crime unless there is strong independent evidence. They may be more willing to "have a word" so he knows his card is marked if there is anymore trouble.
I am a great fan of "having a word" in prevention being better than cure. One wonders if the move towards "getting results" means this traditional method of policing gets the same attention as in previous times.

He sounds as if he may have mental problems and therefore could be unpredictable. I think you should report the incident to the police, you may find that he is already known to them. If you report the incident it will be logged. Other people may have done the same even the elderly couple themselves, so you would be corroborating their story. Don’t hesitate – it’s obviously causing you concern.
