This week, work has started on the new Clubhouse for the Mayow Park Bowls Club. The following text is a message from Glendale:
- The initial work will be setting up and securing the works site and disconnecting existing services and relocation of the container to the yard area.
- Removal of small self set trees and shrubs and minor pruning to one Prunus (Cherry Tree) to allow access, will follow.
- Construction of the new build will then commence along with the construction of the top surface to allow for the containers to be lifted onto site.
- The pathway running along the top side of the Bowling Green will be closed for a short period to allow for excavation for sewerage connections. Diversion signs, etc. will be in place during this time.
- The works are anticipated to last for a period of 6 weeks and finish before Christmas.

Note: We have been promised replanting once the new clubhouse is in place.
