Milkman

Post by Moonpig »

Is there a local milk man operating in the Sydenham area? If so please can you let me know the details as I would much prefer to have milk delivered instead of lining Sainsburys' pockets! :D

We had a milkman /delivery for some time [Over 20 years...not the same bloke all along... ]. Started off really well...But eventually a really hopeless case.

Milk went quickly off. Odd delivery times. Unreliable. Just awful.
We wrote / phoned the depot...No use. Gave up in the end.

Shame.

Express Dairies deliver to us in LPG. Superb service for over 25 years. Surely better to have milk delivered by electric cart then tootling down to Savacentre by car? Recycling bottles without smashing and using lots of energy to re-blow them is a good idea?

We use milk and more, get your order in on the internet by 9.00pm and you get it the following morning. Easy to use and very eco.

It seems they'll deliver a lot more besides milk products. We're about to move from a flat to a small house and so may consider this service. Excellent.
