I dont think the Post Office are doing themselves any favour.
We at home are using email or fax to communicate.
We are also doing the same at work, so in the long run the posties are going to do themselves out of a job
Who has had post today??
I now send out all my invoices by email. Sadly some clients still insist on send us cheques rather than faster/cheaper bank transfer. That will change and, frankly, we don't need the post anymore.
Except for Christmas/Birthday cards. I would give up these if no post meant less junk mail/lost forests.
I feel sad for posties and even the management in working in a dying industry. I remember the telegram boys on their BSAs until near universal adoption of the phone did for them. I'm afraid email will soon do the same for posties.
Which leaves delivery of packages which the PO has not fared well against the private competition...
