Hello Rob - not sure whether you still come here to look. My aunt was married to one of the 8 Watlings, Len, brother to Bert (who was a talented piano player). They had 3 children, all of whom would be in their 70s by now and no longer in this area. They lived off Wells Park Rd.
The family were from Holmshaw and a lot of them worked at the gasworks.
Good luck in your research.

Just checked on my family tree i will not post any names unless you or the person gives me their permission.
One of Lens children was probably 1 of my parents Bridesmaids.
Rosemary Watling married Roy Haylor, June 30 1956, Oxshott Surrey.
Once again..Thankyou.

Oh dear - I think there may be a problem. I've written a total of 4 pm's and although my page says no new messages, there was one new message in my inbox! It shows messages as sent and there is a little white flag just before the title - does that mean unread?
Admin - any ideas please? Maybe I should change my user name to Technodummy!
