Hi lbere,

I remember someone asking this last year:
http://forum.sydenham.org.uk/viewtopic. ... 33a90eea78

so, looks like 500m, but could be proved wrong.....

Kind Regards

Hi lbere,

Probably not as a running track, although we've thought about it along with cycling. Personally, I feel it would take the enjoyment away from simply walking around and enjoying the park as a whole. It might even put off regular park users if there were lanes of runners and cyclists! It might be an idea to display information such as the length of the track in the noticeboard, though....

The arena at Ladywell's meant to be good and then there's always Crystal Palace when you're a bit more experienced!

Good luck - I might even bump into you! (not literally)

Hi, thanks, but they do have a running track marked out, just marked out 100m 200m etc up to 1200m at the side of the path.

The obvious thing to spend the money on is buying a few skate / bike ramps.

They're now in loads of local parks I go to around the country.

They're not hugely pretty - essentially metal frames and smooth steel ramps, but do seem to be extremely popular. And easy to assemble / remove, unlike their concrete predecessors.

Something like this http://www.urbanramps.co.uk
