I was partly responsible for the thread being locked so perhaps I should explain, as I've already done to Annie and bigbadwolf.
There is no mystery about the house. It is two doors away from mine, and I know the owners. They are just normal, friendly people (of about my age) going about their own business. I just felt it was inappropriate to discuss their house and them in this way, particularly behind their backs. I wouldn't be too comfortable if my house and family became the subject of such a thread. Would anyone?
