Sydenham Town will soon be celebrating Christmas. Naff reindeer on the frontpage, nodding Father Christmas and anything else to brighten the place up now Lewisham appear to have decided we don't deserve Christmas lighting!
We want to have a page devoted to Christmas events in Sydenham. So if you are running a Carol Concert, special collections or doing Christmas dinners for old folks - we want to hear from you. Phone us, or add a posting and we will try and bring an extra bit of Christmas cheer to your event.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
At 12.15 pm today a Christmas tree was being delivered outside the Post Office - not to Angie's Florist - but for planting in a specially prepared hole in the pavement, courtesy of Lewisham Council (something at long last to say "thank you" for after our year of misery).
We now have new lights (blue and white this year, as opposed the nasty green and white of recent years) and a Christmas tree - the first to stand in Sydenham for residents to enjoy since Sydenham Society funded a tree about 15 years ago!
