STF Social 8pm Tues 17th Feb

Post by admin »

I'm feeling neglected, sober and in need of good cheer!

Anybody fancy a mid-Feb STF social? A chance to meet fellow community minded folks in a friendly hostelry. Which one? Suggestions please ... and date. I was thinking w/b 14th February. Valentine's night or later in the week.

Thoughts ...

For me, the 14th is out, the 15th is a distinct possibility, and I dunno about the rest of the week till i get my roster this Weds.

But in principle I'm def up for it.

As for the "where", I'll leave that to STF's more regular drinkers, but I'd be quite happy with the Woodman again.

I think a February meet would be good. A chance to welcome new posters in a local establishment and to mingle with the regulars.
Feb 14th is going to be tricky for me. (unless there are loads of fit single women on STF who are going to drop by). And i suspect it may be tricky for others too.
Perhaps the 21st Feb would be better, but we'll wait to get some sort of concensus from others.

I think a pick-me-up is just what's needed.

Strange - my diary doesn't have a week beginning the 14 February? :?

It sounds like Admin wants to get into birthday mode, methinks.....

I'd like to meet some of the fine forum folk and mid-Feb should be OK. The 12th is out for me (and the 14th inadvisable) but I'll try to make any other date.

I'm definately up for it in principle...but I can't do the weekend of the 14/15th of Feb or the weekend of the 7/8th.

So I'd like to do the weekend of the 21/22nd if poss.

My vote is for the golden lion...

Saturday 21st February is good for me. I don't mind going to either the Golden Lion or the Woodman. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Admin, it's your thread, so you need to decide where and when. Please post the venue and time details.

Newbies and STF voyeurs, please attend, if you can.

Let's get STF rockin'

I shall certainly try to make a meet this time around, although there's an outside chance I may decide to go to an away game.

No-one's up for seeing a tribute act at the Windmill then..?

Well if nobody will be my Valentine - my last available date is Tuesday 17th Feb. Can any folks make it that night? I'm sorta feeling Goldy Lion but could be persuaded elsewhere.

It is 8pm Tuesday 17th Feb at the Golden Lion. After Friday's training session I've decided there will be no dancing (on the tables or elsewhere).

That is all

May well show my face, but unfortunately, I'm early shift Weds morning, so won't be a late one for Barty.

You'll have to get the Southern-bashing in quick
