House conversion

Hi all, I received a notice about the conversion of large house. I wasn’t going to make an objection until I saw a cheaply made sign asking for similar properties. Everything screams cheap conversion and exploitative rents. I understand there is a need for affordable housing but I think I’m going to make an objection. Am I being a nimby?

I’ve decided to not be a nimby. Who can afford a whole house nowadays

Oh! Go on. You know you want to. In my road Lewisham planning department gave us an assurance they will not agree to any further sub-divisions.

I argued, at a meeting, this is one of the few places in London where there are reasonably affordable family sized houses.
