Yes.
The garage on Kirkdale has a long queue, traffic not moving in either direction, people turning right into the garage have blocked the oncoming lane and it took an ambulance 10 mins to get through.

There is the slimmest possibility it will be short lived.
Once the tens of millions of cars that happily pootled around with half-filled tanks have filled their tanks to the brim, the demand will reduce.
The national reserve stock of petrol will be in those cars that do not need full tanks.
The petrol companies will put prices up.
Petrol stations will be re-stocked.
We have seen it all before.
And all because THERE IS NO PETROL SHORTAGE.

I filled up my almost empty tank with unleaded just now at the BP garage in Kirkdale, just above Cobb's Corner. No queues, plenty of pumps free.
