Large public recycling bins?

Post by MagmaTimes »

Hi all

Owing to the lack of waste collections this week, we have a huge amount of recyclable packaging and recyclable plastic cluttering up our kitchen.

Does anyone know of a place where recyclable waste can be dumped for recycling in the local area? I vaguely recall there being some mention of bins of this type down at Bell Green Sainsburys. Any clues?

Cheers

The recycling bins at Bell Green Sainsbury’s have been fenced off for quite a while now. There are some recycling bins in the car park at Penge East station.

Although technically you're supposed to have a residents' pass to use it free of charge.
