Help needed.

Post by Jessie »

Hi there
just wondering if anyone can help

I got engaged last week and will be holding a party for a large family and friends and was wondering if anyone can recommend any halls for hire that either have a bar or were we can hold our own.

Also does anyone no of any hotels B&B's in the area that has good disabled access.

thanks in advance

Hiya Jess..

I recently got married. I mean like 3 months ago! We had our wedding at St Banabus Church on Downham Way. ( It wasnt my choice) - But in the end it was a great venue. More so was the hall that we hire next door!

Its a big hall as we managed all our 150 guests. There is a place for you to do your own bar and its at a reasonal price. If your interest ill get the phone number.

P.S CONGRATULATIONS!! ..

congratulations!

the Golden Lion has a function room that often seems to be used for parties. It also has a bar in the corner IIRC. No idea about rates and so on though...

Hi,

I used the Liversley Hall at Bell Green, (its on the Perry (Road) that goes up to Catford, never know which is which) for my 40th last year, really lovely square hall with fab 1920's light (i think).

Really good value and the staff were great, big dance floor.
