Hi
Not sure how many people know about this proposal: DC/20/117829 | An application for Prior Approval under Part 16 Schedule 2 of the General Permitted Development Order 2015 (as amended) for the installation of a 20 metre high monopole supporting 6 x antennas; and 1 x 600mm dish; together with the installation of 12 equipment cabinets and ancillary development at BP Service Station, 277 KIRKDALE, LONDON, SE26 4QD
In the proposal there's a question 'Can the site be seen from a public road, public footpath, bridleway or other public land?' They answer 'no' but with a 20 metre monopole that's clearly wrong. It also borders a conservation area and residential street, plus housing on Kirkdale itself. I have sent an objection.
If you want to object to this proposal please email planning@lewisham.gov.uk citing application DC/20/117829
Thanks

Where would you prefer it to be positioned?. Or are you against the option of having 5G alternatives to Openreach lines and Virgin cable?

Re: Proposed 20 metre high monopole 277 Kirkdale
Considering previous proposals were on 100% residential streets (Newlands Park was one), having it proposed on the site of an already ugly petrol station seems a fairly decent compromise to me.. and I live in view of the petrol station as I live on Kirkdale by cobbs corner.

How can the answer be no? It can be seen clearly from Kirkdale Green (and my home which backs onto the green,) pavements and roads.
And I'm a NIMBY in this case and will be putting in an objection.
