COVID-19 update Kirkdale Bookshop

Dear Customers/readers of the forum,

It is with deep regret that we have made the decision to close the shop to the public for the time being. After a long conversation with colleagues and the owner we feel this is the right step to make at present.

We are a relatively small shop and in times of strict social-distancing measures, we are not able to guarantee the safety of either you or our staff.

We are continuing to accept orders over the phone, online/via email and we will strive to get these to you as quickly as possible. Collections can be made via the shop and we are also happy to deliver locally, if you are unable to get to us. We can also post books, however regular postage costs will apply.

In the meantime if you see something in the shop that you’d like or if you want to ask us about anything we might have in the shop, just knock on the door and we’ll help as best we can!

We’d like to thank you once more for your continued support in this difficult time.

Trusting that the rate relief and stuff announced yesterday will bring some relief. Itf there is one shop in Sydenham I could save - it's the bookshop!
