Re: 5-a-side footie
It would appear that we may all be out for Wednesday.
The recent announcement by the government states that we should stop all non-essential travel and avoid pubs and clubs.
Whilst there has been no specific order to close for the duration Goals state on their website that they will follow government directives.

I am out, for the foreseeable. That leaves 6v7 as it stands, which would be better on the 7s.
Whilst I have no confidence in the decision to suggest social distancing as a way of fighting COVID-19, I am not going to take the chance, so I am going to observe the no pubs, clubs etc ruling.
Goals are not cancelling any pitches, in fact they are still fully booked (can’t even book the 8:30pm).
Finally, my phone is also ill, not expected back from the phone doctor until Thursday/Friday. Can you please post on the forum if you need to drop out.

I’ll call Goals later - it looks like there is a pitch at 8:30 or 9:30, but they aren’t open yet. Can you please let me know which pitch you prefer (please note I still don’t have a working phone - terrible timing) and if someone is able to pick up the kit and kitty.

Re: 5-a-side footie
PITCH CANCELLED
Byron has just let me know that both Cesar and Mark are out.
I will call to cancel the pitch when they open.
I doubt we will get the numbers in the coming weeks but I’ll keep checking back.

No worries about tonight. I look forward to seeing you all very soon. And in the meantime all the very best.

What about a kick-around in the park sometime? Be nice to see you all at least once more
