Halloween/Trick-or-treating
Do children in this area generally go out on Halloween for Trick-or-treating?

If there’s a pumpkin or Halloween decorations outside the house is usually fair game for trick or treating. When I don’t want any more round I take my pumpkin in

Thanks all - good to know!
I'll put a pumpkin out until we run out of mini mars bars

If anyone can be around (not at work) for the Sydenham Road Halloween walk on Thur 31 Oct, finishing at the Syd Centre at 5pm for the best costume competition, it's worth being out as a onlooker, whilst of course hiding in the shadows from the scary ghosts and ghouls prowling... who do seem to accumulate a fair few treats from the local shops
I've not personally had more than an occasional knock at the door and fortunately no "tricks". I might knock at yours if I successfully rugby tackle the little ones queueing for mini Mars bars...
