SYDENHAM STATION: NEW TICKET BARRIER IN PEAK HILL GARDENS

I need to give an update to this situation.
Last Friday (5th Sept) I had a very constructive meeting with Annabel McLaren of The Sydenham Society.
All aspects of this development were discussed.
As a result, I became aware of the local enthusiasm and campaigning at various levels to achieve the desired outcome.
The outcome being that which Lewisham Council has already given planning permission.
Although I don't approve of the cuting down of mature trees, in these circumstances I now understand why it's unfortunately necessary.
I would like to thank Annabel and the other representatives from The Sydenham Society, for taking the time to meet me and listen to my concerns.
I have now withdrawn my objection from Lewisham Council and replaced it with approval instead.
