Ancient Trees

Has anyone come across the Ancient Trees Inventory? I've just done a search for SE26, and whilst we don't have any "ancient" trees there are a lot of "veteran" ones in Mayow Park (I like the phrasing!). It's here: https://ati.woodlandtrust.org.uk/

Yes, you can register and then send details of any tree that you think fits the criteria (explained quite thoroughly on the website) and they will send someone to verify this. If the tree is considered either 'notable', 'veteran' or 'ancient' it will be added to the tree map. We have just submitted details of the very old, majestic sessile Oak in the garden of No5 Churchley Rd right next to the Longton Nursery Alltoments site. Not sure yet what the decision will be on this tree but as it's already got a Tree Preservation Order and is considered to be a noteworthy tree by Lewisham Council's Tree Officer, fingers crossed it will be found to have enough of the required features of age to be included on the tree map...
