It may be old, but I'm not sure how good it is

I've only occasionally watched it, put off by the feeling that is it all staged, and reduces serious debate to chasing ratings.

When I attended one at Lewisham a couple of years ago it was recorded earlier in the evening..

I had attended one at BBC White City. It was recorded as live much earlier in the evening.

Always wondered why no one in audience was never caught dozing off. I often fall asleep on sofa half an hour in!!

Ok - loose terminology on my part and to agree further, Mr Dimbleby's actions frequently underscore your point about ratings.

It has never really been the same since that nice Mr Day left.
