Meditation Classes anywhere??

Can anyone advise whether there are any meditation classes anywhere in the Sydenham area, or the surrounding areas? Everything I find online is in Central London, NW London etc so would really appreciate it if anyone can help.

Four years ago I attended a few classes at Lewisham Library.

I wonder if the people at Crystal Palace sports centre might know? Pilates classes are run there and very often people who teach that sort of thing might know people who are into meditation. Or maybe people who run "real" health food shops (as opposed to chains) might know.

I am embarassed to admit that I have just discovered that I wrote my weekly shopping list on a leaflet that came through the door on this very subject.

All this is much more interesting and healthy than what some idiot has written on the back:

Doubly embarassing is the fact that I live in Kirkdale and didn't know we had a Holistic Personal Development Centre.

The Brockwell Park Lido in Herne Hill have buddhist meditaton classes in their studios twice a week. I haven't been and its a bit hard to get to if you don't have a car but if you are willing to travel....

I forgot I'd ever asked this question, and had just come online to see if there is anywhere again - and found my own question!! Very helpful replies, thank you, I'll try the one in Kirkdale!
