Whatever else you might want to say about the lad, he's certainly got lots of entrepreneurial energy.

Stop trying to get us to go on to your SE23 forum, Mr Beach.
Very boring.

I wondered about this as mine has been marked white and there are some clearly marked pipes across the end of the drive too. Was worried it could have been some sort of 'tagging' so contacted Thames Water who had no idea so it's interesting to know what it might be! I'll look out for a letter explaining it!

Is there a more positive and friendlier forum in the area? Do sharese23.life wrote:It's okay, don't worry, chaps. I get the message, and I'll stick to friendlier and more positive forums in future.

Yeah. We're getting smart water meters whether we want them or not.
Although this seems to be the se23.life moan thread instead.

To my dismay this has now happened in Larkbere Road. Is there any way round it, or way to appeal against it? I truly do not want a water meter, and it is really annoying to have be forced into it.

A quick blast with a can of black spray paint and hey presto - problem solved...Hissing Syd wrote:To my dismay this has now happened in Larkbere Road. Is there any way round it, or way to appeal against it? I truly do not want a water meter, and it is really annoying to have be forced into it.
