Indian Rose on Newlands Park has been cordend off and four police cars are attending the premises. No other details are currently available. Does anyone else know what's going on?

I think that they had a hot tip off hence the reason for closing off the area....

But no.....seriously... I believe that all new police officers are made to watch episodes of the Bill before being let loose on our streets, so it seems they are taking it very seriously.....lol

The yobs were all pickled, but because it was chilli outside, they were banged in the steamer. All goes to show, you can't can't keep a good curry down.

I've been told today that someone had tried to steal the till money as they were closing up. There is a serious crime here but you all seem to find it more funnier to take the piss.

Yes I do agree that there was a serious crime that took place and for people taking the piss is was just harmless fun....

I am sure that no harm was meant by any of the comments above but just harmless banter from what you wrote in your first message. If we had known what the crime was then I am sure the houmor would not have come out the way it did.

I am sorry Sean if you personally took offence, but come on we all have a little sence of houmor....or do we....

How absolutely dreadful.

Thieves trying to steal some money.

What kind of messed up world are we living in now.

It's just so wrong.

Something should be done.

But wait!

There were 4 police cars with at least 4 police officers there sorting it out.

That's four more than showed up when I got robbed.

Maybe things are getting better.

Maybe the world is a brighter place.

(Maybe they thought they would get some free samosas.)
