Does anyone know where the meetings of the local CLP take place?

I think, but don't quote me on this, that they are at 43 Sunderland Road - it's the end nearest the South Circ.

I expect he will wake up soon as Great British Beer Festival returns in 3 weeks.

Not sure if young James has decided to retire and concentrate on real ale in future ??

He must have a huge pension by now.

I am sure he has his constituents in mind at all times.

Where does Jim Dowd stand regarding the position of Jeremy Corbyn? Is he one of the 172 who voted that they had no confidence in him? Just curious!

He is quite an expert on Real Ale , so I understand.

That should be commended.

He probably knows Jeremy of old as was a whip when Jeremy rebelled all the time.

Some friends of mine went to lobby parliament re trident. Jim Dowd was extremely rude to them. Doesn't surprise me, what surprised me was that he was at the House and not a beer festival.

Not sure but he was marked as neutral on a leaked list:

On the one hand, Dowd used to be a whip for new Labour, and I suspect he had many a run-in with Corbyn.
Plus Dowd voted with the Tories on bombing Syria. (I think we can guess his position on trident.)

Then again Blair sacked him in 2001, so he might be enjoying his fellow Blairites in distress.

As far as our constituency goes, they are pro Corbyn, unlike Lewisham East who are anti-Corbyn, and head the list if that means anything:
