DIY waste advice

Post by Ronski »

Hi

Anyone got any advice on how cheapest way to dispose of 5 kitchen units? Reading on Lewishams site I can't take them to the New Cross dump so wasn't sure how best to do it?

Thanks

Either a skip if you have plenty of other stuff you need rid of or a hippo bag of the appropriate size (B&Q have them in the building yard out back)

Thanks for the replies, sounds like Churchfields is the best bet. It's not free though

A nearby neighbour took a photo of hers and advertised on Gumtree (free to collector). The cupboards (wall and floor) were snapped up in a day.

Depending on exactly what, cupboards can have new doors fitted so if sound they still have value for upcycling. Even in worn quality people often want cupboards for garages. I'd ask around more before paying for tipping them. Maybe put a post in the Offers subforum on here for starters?
