Sorry if this is old news but only just returned to work post Xmas.....,
We have a coffee outlet at Lower Sydenham station platform 1 in the ticket office. Does fresh coffees, toast, fruit, soft drinks etc
I am no coffee expert but he has a fancy machine & it isn't giving me a nasty burnt/ashtray taste. Certainly has made my journey much brighter this morning! The owner said it has been quiet as people didn't know he was there or didn't have any money - so thought I'd share
Coffee at Lower Sydenham station
Re: Coffee at Lower Sydenham station
Always good to spread the word.
A new shop up town a while ago offered a free (smallish) ring doughnut with each cup of coffee which helped spread the word to co-workers.
Maybe that would work on the station also if people were visibly eating them on the platform whilst waiting for their train, especially if the name were on the wrapper. Or walk up and down the platform with a shoulder slung sandwich tray at peak times as a cabin stall is very easy to miss if you don't know it's there.
You don't actually mention the vendor's name - perhaps you could since you are giving a good review?

Ok so I went back this morning to find the name for you & get another coffee. He also owns a kiosk in Penge East station & it is under his family name Sheriff's Coffee Co.
Italian coffee & Italian freshly baked pastries - not helping my resolve to save money this month!

Is it in the same building as the ticket office (where there used to be a little shop a year or two ago) ? I just went through there but the shutters were down
