Perhaps keep this in perspective? Millie's Story Community Event at the fundamental level is a "fun day" charitable event with the intention of trying to help a cause which is unlikely to hit the limelight in the way that huge TV appeals do and government aid does so thank goodness some are prepared to try to help causes well under overt media awareness.
The event is asking if you'd like to buy a soft drink and a cake and maybe join in (it's really not asking anyone to donate their life savings). Many people "donate" to coffee shop shareholders regularly without giving a second thought don't they?

Nice event last night at TNG for Millie's Story fund raising. Enjoyed the entertainment - fun clarinet player gave a good show. Thanks to all who helped organise and hope much was raised for the cause. Good feel.

Yes the event went really well.
We have raised £662,73 from last night event only.
Absolutely agree that the entertainment was Brilliant just a shame the wasn't more people to entertain.
