I was just reading this Sydenham Society article...

Were any photos taken of the building (inside, outside or back garden) in the years or decades leading up to it's demolition?

I attended there (day nursery) from about the age of 3-6. I only have 3 memories of it. I went looking for the building in about 2004, but it was already gone.

Memory 1: Inside the interior there was a circular high balcony with steps leading up to the first floor from the south. No doubt there was a chandelier hanging down from the center of the ceiling.
Memory 2: There was a room in the northwest of the first floor, which had a big window looking out into the garden. There were shelves on the east wall of this room, and I remember seeing a model of a red bus on the top shelf. Also, this room led south to the kitchen.
Memory 3: The garden was rectangular. There was a green climbing frame of some sort and maybe 1 or 2 other playground things for children.

I have a home video of the Perry Rise Nursery (including the staff, other children and myself) participating in a duck pond marathon at Folkestone Gardens, Deptford, when it was still a fairly new park (Jun-1984).
