What's your number Alex. I'll call you later to arrange. I'll have to go back to town after football so you'll get a lift back to pal.

5-a-side footie

Good game tonight, even if the weather did feel very October-ish.

I'm OUT for the next two weeks. Middlesbrough has the bibs and the kitty.

Good luck to Ray S with his move to Haywards Heath. And let's hope JMLF's recovery from injury is speedy.

Two outstanding fees (£7 each):

I'm still stiff and it will take time to get back to fitness level from before injury therefore I'm in for next Wednesday. A beer wouldn't go amiss on Saturday so if that social still on I'm up for it too.

In for Wednesday. I've got the kit and kitty. Think we may be short of numbers so would help if people could post early, even if not going to make it.

I have PM'd a lot of the group. Hopefully we can get at least another 4 people, in which case I will downgrade to the five-a-side pitch. I will call Goals tomorrow afternoon to either cancel for one week, or book a fives. Or not at all if 6 more appear!

Gents,

Sorry to hijack the list but its in a good cause!

An amazing guy I know through my Team Rwanda Cycling work is called Eric Murangwa. He used to be the goal-keeper for the Rwanda national team before the genocide. He lost dozens of family members and barely escaped with his life. His story is truly harrowing but somehow he is a positive man and doing amazing things through the FHPU (Football for Hope, Peace & Unity) soccer charity. I am in awe of him to be completely honest.

There is a crowd-funding project to help make his film. Please do donate anything you can to help. There are some cool options for donators.

Many thanks

Just to let you know I've another lad called Marcus - the 3 so far are:

Marcus
Tommy
and Simon

and I'm in of course!

I don't know the lads as it's from the Crystal Palace group, but they all seem up for it. We should have 10 now! hopefully can get 12 and we'll be in for a good night of football!
