We’ve lived around the corner from Highclere on Champion Crescent for 8 years with two young kids and have loved it. There’s a really nice family community. Pretty much all our neighbours have got young children and St Michaels is really good school which your probably in the catchment for. It’s only a couple of mins to Mayow Park which is the best park in Sydenham in my opinion. It’s about a 12 min nice walk to Sydenham Station through Mayow Park. Your also only 15 mins from Lower Sydenham which agreed, does feel a bit dodgy after dark at the moment, but I’m sure that area will improve drastically if the Bakerloo Line extension gets the go ahead. Late Knights is opening a craft beer pub just across the road in a month or so. Lower Sydenham always seems to get a bit of a bad rep I would definitely rather live here then some parts of Sydenham.
