I was pestered by a pair of Vanquis loan hawkers on the high street on Monday. As much as I was tempted by their 1000% interest rates, it would be nice to have our local pitches occupied by a company that's not a glorified pay day loan shark.
Anyone know who gives permission for them to be there?

I imagine the pitch is hired via the council.
Vanquis advertise their credit card online at 39.9% incidentally - they probably won't thank you for your hyperbole
Pitches don't magically fill up though do they? The council offers and markets them but there have to be takers. The hopefully ensuing summer weather might be an incentive for vendors to set up. It's up to us to support the ones who do
