Urgent Driving Help Neeed

Hi all,

Long time lurker needing help here. For reasons I won't go into I need want to pass my driving test at the end of April. I have my theory test done from last year but I need more than the few lessons I have.

Can anyone recommend a good instructor who has availability? I am free after 6pm weekdays and weekends in Sydenham but could travel a bit if the lessons were based a bit further.

The test would have to be in Siddcup as that is all that is available for a test at the tend of April.

I can't really help except for telling you that a friend recently who'd had a reasonable number of lessons and had his theory test already went for a two-day intensive training course. It worked for him and he passed first time shortly afterwards. It wasn't in London though. I imagine the AA or BSM do intensive courses although no doubt others offer such courses - probably costing the earth but cheaper in the long run than doing more lessons and a test-retake if test not passed first time.

My test was years ago, but I remember it helped enormously that I took the test in a car I was familiar with. Worth a thought if you can get that to happen for your test.

That give me some confidence. I have some time to get experience still and the evenings are now longer. I'll just have to get my own practice in and see if there are any instructors out there with any time available.
