I went to see this on Friday.
I thought it was excellent. Apart from the acting from Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Charles Dance and many more, I thought the screen writing was outstanding, and was gratified to read Mark Kermode commenting on it in his review in today's Observer
The Imitation Game review – an engrossing and poignant thriller
Definitely four stars from me too. What do others think?

I intend to see this and am sure it is excellent.
Went to BP couple of years ago and what they did and the secrecy they maintained was amazing.

Re: The Imitation Game
Finally managed to see this film this afternoon. I thought it was excellent, brilliant acting (even by Knightley, whom I normally find a bit of a distraction) and really quite moving. I thought they struck a good balance of showing Turing's personal story and also his achievements and contribution to the War; the reality of what he and his team did was kept in the viewers minds by showing some of the realities of war. The only thing I will say was that there were a few historical inaccuracies that were a little grating at times, even large enough to be called plot holes perhaps (won't discuss them here for risk of spoiling it for others). But overall, they didn't detract from the enjoyability of the film for me and I expected some artistic license to give the film its mainstream appeal, which I think Turing's story deserves. Four stars from me too.

One of the best films I have seen in a long time!
