Good man FLETCH. We now have:

1. Rich
2. Darren
3. PK
4. Sam
5. Allan
6. Jim
7. Ali
8. Gav
9. Cycle Steve (probably)
10. Ben
11. Pete
12. Jonny (not forgotten this week!)
13. Alex Gill
14. George
15. Mick
16. FLETCH

We now have a full compliment gents. Can I suggest that if anyone else wants to play that they put their name down as reserve in case anyone drops out? Also, if you're on the list but can't make it for any reason then please post (even if it's last minute).

8 a side should be good!

See you Wednesday

I'm happy to throw my hat into the ring... happy to start as a sub (since I've been a no-show for 8 months).

Hi

I'm looking to join a 5-a-side team in Sydenham. Came across this feed on google. Are you guys looking for extra players at all? If so, can someone drop me a few details on where/when you play, skill level etc?

Cheers

New players are always welcome. I've sent you a PM when some more info.

All we ask is that people post their availability early. That way we can (try to) book an extra pitch if there's sufficient demand.

Some clarification needed here (Lem?). Obviously the rules have changed and when you get to 16, you shut up shop. So do you now play with subs? Or... Just don't wanna turn up if there's no point.

Hey Ben (Joe P), nice to hear from you.

The reason the 16 rule was brought in was due to the numbers we were getting - up to 22-23 at one point and either requiring another pitch to be booked or we'd end up playing 9 or 10 a side sometimes with subs, which is too crowded on a 7's pitch.

Tonight we do have 8 a side but if you want to turn up then please do so - same goes for you Jon (JMLF)
I don't want to stop anyone from having a game of footy! You and Jon (JMLF) can start as subs and we'll roll on and off as we go along.

Hopefully see you later

Good game last night, really enjoyed it! IN for next Wednesday.

Also, a few of us were discussing having a Christmas do; so I propose the 5th December 2014 in the Dolphin pub, Sydenham and then going for a curry at Gurkha's. Christmas jumpers are optional but be warned there may be fines for those that don't wear one! Also, there may be a few awards dished out on the night...

Post if your interested.

Sam, we'll need written permission from your dad, aka Ben (Joe Pineapples), for you to stay out late and miss your paper round next morning!

Have a good weekend
Jim
