I had a lovely time today dropping off flyers for the Pop-up Charity second-hand Book Sale which is on this Saturday 25th Oct at Here for Good Community Centre 17 Sydenham Rd (next to Well-Being) 10am-1pm

I started at Mayow Park café as it was so positively reviewed on this forum recently and had a lovely tom, mozz and pesto toasted sandwich and a wonderful Latte. I didn't want to leave but dragged myself up to the High St and visited Well Being, Here for Good Community Centre, Hill Top café, Sema's Café, Kente Coffee, On the Hoof and finally Cherry and Ice. Thank you to all of these places for being so positive about the book sale and letting me put posters up!

Hope to see you there on Saturday, remember it's only from 10am-1pm so don't forget to buy a book or two maybe for yourself or for a friend.... why not buy books as presents this year or one to read when you head off to have with your coffee and brunch?

Lots of children's books too, as well as a big range of seasonal titles...... (bit too soon to mention Christmas (shhhhh!)).

Come and meet Bob and Ada Hiley who set up Book Aid, they will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
