Thanks for the offer Mosy, not this time, but you could call Book Aid direct to see if they are needed: 0208 778 2145.
They are based in Bromley House, Kangley Bridge Road, SE26 5AQ, not far from Lower Syd Station on the right hand side if you're going along from Savacentre (or whatever it's called these days!). Are you coming along on 30th Aug?

Thanks to everyone who came along today, we had such a lovely stream of people coming through the doors of the Here for Good Community Centre to the Charity Book Sale.
So many people bought books and many people wanted to donate ones they've finished with, thanks for this, please contact Book Aid for details of how to donate: 020 8778 2145.
For those of you who missed this sale or rushed past on your way to catch a train not realising it was happening you can visit the fantastic book room at Book Aid and buy books there during the week. Just give them a call to find out opening times or pop in: Book Aid, Bromley House, Kangley Bridge Road, Lower Sydenham, SE26 5AQ, not far from Lower Syd train station. Do mention you heard about Book Aid from this forum, or that you came to the sale today.
Our aim today was to raise awareness of Book Aid, and the hidden treasure that it is for all those who love books, whatever their age.
Thanks for your interest, and watch this space in case we do another book sale.
