Seems obvious to me, I can't imagine anyone would want to continue with the purchase of a property comercial or residential if it had a pub obscuring all daylight in front of it.

I live on Highclere Street and it's a great road to live on, quiet, friendly and nice houses. Houses sell very quickly on the road.
Sydenham seems to be getting better as well. I believe the 2 halves is going to become a nice pub and lots of building seems to be going on.

In fact the Swedish government now see their free schools program as a mistake that has increased social division. The issue has been widely reported.
