Saturday lunchtime at exactly 1.55 I saw a postman with at least one handful of letters (at least 20) posting them in the letterbox on the corner of Lawrie Park Road and Westwood Hill.

Could anyone (including the Postman on this site) please give us all an explanation as to why?

And it would have been nice if they'd told anyone in advance that they were coming, before shutting off a large swatch of the park for hours on end. A sign or two perhaps, or a message posted on either here or Virtual Norwood, wouldn't have gone amiss. Not impressed, at all ...

Kennedys Sausages

As we all know they have closed all their shops and we can't get their sausages anywhere :-( :( However I have been reliably informed that the Sausage Shop in Beckenham High Street sell them as 'Ken and Eddys'
has anyone on here tried them and are they the same or similar or nothig like the original?

Just to let you know, others might find this useful should they wish to buy or rent in the block. It is NOT council. This is a private block of flats built in the very late 1950s.
