Re: Planning Application - Gas Holder site

I can’t object as I’m technically over the border but if I could I would do so on the following grounds: There has been a lack of consultation and consideration of local residents views. May we query what measures and assurances will we have in respect of full building lifecycle and estate man ...

Re: Masks (again!)

Also still wearing masks. I’ve been the only one in the gym doing so for months. I’m going to have to relax my “fear of death” stare from next week, when it is no longer compulsory. Really looking forward to playing sardines on the tube again The feeling of helplessness in this situation when you are ...

Re: Reduced Southern service

Thanks but I don’t really see that as a solution to travel far out geographically to come back in, nor would it be time efficient. Every time I have been forced to do some to inf crazy like that, the services don’t line up.

I just need to get directly to London Bridge - not via bloomin’ Canada Water which is geographically quite out of the way of a very direct route. Maddening

Re: Covid Vaccine - Third Booster Jab

Considering I called the doctor about someone extremely clinically vulnerable and was told that the lorry driver crisis was affecting supplies, you may indeed have to wait until the vulnerable are all done. They had no idea when they would have doses for flu. Covid booster was yesterday and they ...

Re: how to get out of this mess

Lockdown IS working - please keep staying at home, wearing masks and staying at 2m (which is quite a distance) and washing your hands. It IS working - rates will start to come down if we just keep going. Biden’s message of 100 days was a smart one - This won’t be over quickly we need to commit to boo ...

Re: St Philip Neri school: Archdiocese appeals planning enforcement order

Thanks for posting so much detail. I have to confess,I skim read it. I’m happy to support sorting out the eyesore to ensure it meets the original or better design but not entirely clear on how I ( or others ) can help. If you could cut and paste letters that may be useful to send etc. I’d be happy to ...

Tranzmission Festival (Rave)

The very fact that the rave day/night is going ahead...Is disturbing... This is despite COVID risking the increase of the “R” number in our local area. Considering the likelihood of substance abuse, why is nobody talking about this and the possible negative impacts, be that the NHS, police or oth ...
