We actually had a very progressive sunday considering no electric, luckily we have gas so boiled water for tea and washing, spent 3 hours in our garden which was long overdue!! Heated water for neighbours who weren't so fortunate. Electric came back on about 2pm. Didn't really miss anything but ...

I'm an early bird at Lower Sydenham (use 6.52 and 7.26 regularly and occasionally the 6.30) and have found that these trains, 6.52 and 7.26, are heaving by the time it arrives at the station.
