Gymophobics

Post by admin »

I have withdrawn a 2008 thread on Gymophobics under threat of legal action by their HQ.

The thread started with a question of what people thought about our local franchise. It received both positive and negative comments and the manager at the time agreed it was in Gymophobics interest that it should remain here so people could make their own judgements. Indeed she made a pitch in the thread for joining them!

Hence my surprise at the sudden sensitivity. I am hoping to get Gymophobics to identify exactly what claims were libellous or defamatory so I can excise them and re-instate the thread.

In the meantime praise or criticism of the Gymophobics training programme is off limits.

That seems quite heavy handed, and potentially counter-productive if they're trying to gain new subscribers? Odd.
