Just a quick update: We now take in a whopping £31.00 per month. We're hoping to get this up to £400pcm by March, so it looks like the dog poo video (see below) made some impact because we're up from £19.00 pcm since posting it online in August! This is a good start seeing that we haven't even started the major publicity campaign.
So what next? The Amazing Fun-draising Group have already filmed and edited a comedy sketch show, made entirely for you, the local community. We will be screening it in November and sending bluetooth links from outside the local train stations (we'll let you know which dates to keep your blue tooth on). The show is made entirely by young people, with the intention of building up our public fund to a point where it can continually help local organisations and charities keep young people active, involved, learning and in some cases paid. All work evidenced on our website http://www.sfhyouthforum.org.uk as part of the conditions of funding. So you, the donors, can always see where your money is going.
The Amazing Fun-draising Group also hope to bring out an exclusive single by Christmas which has a working title: Can you eat a squirrel in Mayow Park? All lyrics and music made entirely by young people in the area!
So if you're tired of paying for over-priced coffee in the morning, feel free to take a day off once a month and donate it to the Sydenham and Forest Hill Youth Fourm: Barclays s/c 20-49-81, acc. 50934224. You can also download a standing order form from our website http://sfhyouthforum.org.uk/donate/.
Also, our AGM is on Friday 10am-12pm, 17 Sydenham Road. Drop in if you're interested in finding out more about us and what we do.

Re: Fun-draising Update
The Amazing Fun-draising Group are a team of teenagers who are meeting regularly on Monday evenings. They lost their beloved drama workshops in July and now use their skills to help other clubs receive funding. As an umbrella org, The Sydenham and Forest Hill Youth Forum have over thirty members and all of which are struggling to maintain staff and provision. All it takes is a few thousand people giving £2 a month to make a huge difference. What's more is that your charitable giving certainly begins at home, and you can see the changes right on your door step.
