Forest Hill pools drop in
Tuesday 5 April, 5-7pm; Louise House (between Forest Hill Library and the pools), Dartmouth Road SE23
An opportunity to meet the Willmott Dixon construction team and to ask any questions you may have about the building of the new Forest Hill Pools. Images of the new building and the latest plans will be on display. Please call into the first-floor meeting room of Louise House which Willmott Dixon is using as temporary office accommodation.

Council AGM
Wednesday 6 April starting at 7.30pm, Civic Suite, Catford
The budget for 2011/12 has been set in what has been a very difficult period and we are now holding our AGM during which the Mayor will address the meeting.

Community Education public meeting on proposed closure of Kirkdale
Thursday 7 April, 7pm at the Naborhood Centre, 44a Sydenham Road SE26 5QX
The consultation period runs until May 20th and a special meeting for residents has been arranged to explain the 25% cuts from the Skills Funding Agency including the changes to the concessionary fees.

Future of Sydenham Library Community Interest Event
Tuesday 12th April, 4-8pm, Civic Suite, Catford
An opportunity to drop in at anytime during the four hours to view the displays, speak to the organisation representatives and council officers and leave their comments on the proposals for Sydenham Library. Lewisham Council has invited bids from enterprising organisations that are interested in taking on the management of Sydenham Library. Recognising the broader role that library buildings can play within communities the Council will assess the proposed use of the building and associated community benefits including plans for community library services. As part of this assessment the Council is holding a Community Interest Event to enable local residents to view the proposals and comment on them.
