Sydenham International Music Festival laid on another corker this evening. Dogadin's beautiful pure creamy tone sounded just right in the Beethoven 'Spring' and Cesar Franck sonatas, and he and Martin Roscoe seemed really to gell. There were also some virtuoso items, of which the Ysaye 'Ballade' sonata for violin solo (unknown to me until tonight) was the most impressive and memorable.
The Music Festival makes me proud to live in Sydenham. Thank you, Sydenham Music organizers.

Dogadin/Roscoe recital
Fully agree , apart from the brilliance of those , and so many other performers, thinking of the brilliant Endellion Quartet particularly, I think we owe such a debt of gratitude to the organisers .
Each of those events involves so much organisation and work from planning, selling tickets/taking tickets , venue , publicity etc .
They are an example to us all -better to light one candle than complain about the darkness as they say....
Well done to the organisers !
